Becoming a Mother Who Knows

Re-post. for Mother's Day..This is what it is all about for me

Are you aspiring to be a Mother Who Knows?

Becoming a mother who knows is not for the faint of heart.  It is not for those who want to take the easy road of motherhood or hope that courageous parenting won't require too much of them.  Becoming a mother who knows,  is not for wimps.  It is not for the faith-less, of those not wanting to make the time or the effort to fill their lamps with oil.

Becoming a mother who knows is a sanctifying journey. That means it's holy and sacred.  It is about sacrifice, strength, faith, trusting in God and turning to him FIRST and more than anyone or anything else.  It is traveling the road less traveled, and being different in a good way from others.  It is literally, about becoming.

Howard W. Hunter said this:
"You are chosen to be faithful women of God in our day, to stand above pettiness, gossip, selfishness, lewdness, and all other forms of ungodliness.  Recognize your divine birthright as daughters of our Heavenly Father"-Daughters in My Kingdom

The book, Daughters in my Kingdom, can teach us how to become
Mothers Who Know.
