There are some really good motherhood stages, and I am in one right now.
It is the most fun and the most exhilarating.
I am talking L--U--V.
I have a 20 year old daughter who has fallen in love with a great young man. Someone we would have only dreamed of her meeting.
She comes home from her dates with love on the brain, and sighs deeply about how much she likes him. We then have this bonding mother-daughter time. Like girl-friends at a sleep over, she tells me about all the cute things he said to her that day.
It is fun. Really really fun.
We are very excited to see where this might be leading.
Love is in the air and the Rust home!

Aw, so sweet. I have three daughters, and I look forward to those days.

ReplyDeleteI am in the same boat with my daughter right now and it's a fun place to be as a Mom - especially when the young man is everything you've wanted for your girl!
