Proclamation Series: Righteous Traditions of Faith

Establishing Righteous Traditions of Faith

How do we instill within our children FAITH?

How do we teach the principles in The Family Proclamation?

How can we BECOME a family of FAITH?

Becoming a family of faith starts with establishing righteous traditions of FAITH within our family.

Definition of tra·di·tion/trəˈdiSHən/

  1. The transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way.
  2. A long-established custom or belief that has been passed on in this way.

The Family: A proclamation to the World talks about doctrines and principles of strong families -principles that become traditions of faith as we live them.

"Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. "

As we live the principles in the family proclamation, we are creating righteous traditions of faith in our families.  Traditions that will be passed on from one generation to the next, creating a strong link of faith.
